12 Days China Classic Tour

Destination: Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai

 
  • Day 1. Arrive in Beijing

    You will be greeted by our Beijing tour guide and transferred to check in at your luxurious hotel where you are at your leisure to relax and enjoy the evening.

  • Day 2. Beijing (AB, L, SD)

    Beijing is the capital city of China, with population of 17.4 million. We embark for a full day tour which begins at the Tian An Men Square, noted as the largest public square in the world with its monuments and buildings situated around the square's perimeter. Thereafter we will visit the Forbidden City, and Summer Palace whilst enjoying a walk along Lake Kunming. Dinner is served with a fabulous Peking Duck Banquet.

  • Day 3. Beijing (AB, L)

    Today, you'll visit the Great Wall (Chang Cheng), after that, you will stop at a Jade Museum to learn the history of Jade. In Chinese, jade is pronounced as 'Yu', and it has a history in China of at least four thousand years. In the afternoon, have a Hutong tour by rickshaw to see the old Beijing household and traditional architecture. 

  • Day 4. Beijing to Xian (AB, SD) plan

    Morning visit the exquisite 15th century Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing Emperors pray for good harvest. Then you will catch a flight to Xian. Xian - also known as Chang'an in the old days, was the starting point of the historic Silk Road. 

  • Day 5. Xian (AB, L)

    You will visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum (Bing Ma Yong). It's known as the 8th miracle in the world. The whole mausoleum is like a cultural treasure vault with large collections of relics. Visit the Terra Cotta Army replication factory before backing to visit the Ancient City Wall, 14th - century wall is one of the most complete city walls in China and certainly one of the best examples from the Ming dynasty. 

  • Day 6. Xian / Guilin (AB, L) plan

    Tour the Small Wild Goose Pagoda Park and Xian Museum, and Muslim Quarter, then fly to Guilin. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is on your own.

  • Day 7. Guilin – Yangshuo – Guilin (AB, L)

    A leisurely four-hour Cruise down the Lijiang River from Guilin to Yangshuo begins the day. Enjoy the picturesque landscape, surrounded by the hills and bamboo that have inspired many artists over the centuries. This afternoon to explore on your own by either renting a bike or taking a walk around Yangshuo's West Street, a 1,400-year-old street paved with marble. 

  • Day 8. Guilin / Hangzhou (AB/L ) plan

    Free till be transfer to visit the mysterious Reed Flute Cave, a huge cave featuring a walk of about 500 meters, lined up by countless grotesque yet thrilling stalactite formations. Then, visit the South-sea saltwater pearl Center to experience the Chinese tea culture. Later fly to Hangzhou. Rest of the day is left on your own. 

  • Day 9. Hangzhou - Suzhou (AB, L)

    Morning take a leisurely boat ride on West Lake, one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Hangzhou. You'll see the ethereal beauty of Hangzhou's willow - draped islands, and then admire the Su Causeway. Stop for a taste of China's most famous green tea - Dragon Well Tea at the Longjing Green Tea village. Late afternoon, drive to Suzhou.

  • Day 10. Suzhou - Shanghai (AB, L)

    Suzhou, acclaimed as the "city of gardens". UNESCO added its classical gardens in Suzhou to its World Heritage List in 1997 and 2000. Today, your guide will take you to visit theHumble Administrator's Garden and the Silk Factory, where you can enjoy a silk fashion show. Then pay a visit to the Panmen Scenic Area before heading to ride a boat on the Grand Canal

  • Day 11. Shanghai (AB, L)

    Today's city tour starts with a visit to the BundCheng Huang Miao, you will also experience the bustling shopping district of Nanjing Road and Gem Exhibition Center, you can use your bargaining skills to acquire memento for this visit. After visit , you will spend some free time at Shanghai Museum, you can easily spend a few hours to examine its rich and high-quality collection of ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy, with special exhibits and collection of 120,000 precious works of art, this museum has become one of the best in China.

  • Day 12. Depart from Shanghai (AB)

    After the breakfast, our tour guide will accompany you to the Shanghai airport, fly to your next destination city or back home.
